We wish to kindly update the current POA requirement to be fulfilled at the UAE Trademark office; it has been clarified that a copy of a bilingual non-legalized Power of Attorney at the time of filing of a new application will be acceptable. This is subject to the condition that the duly legalized Power of Attorney fulfilling the local attestation formality will be filed within the prescribed legal term of 30 days; otherwise the filed trademark application will be rejected.
